  @TheDman52 several things could have happened. PSU could be to weak, if your CPU does not have an unlocked multiplier, and you increased your FSB to achieve the O.C you could be stressing other components of your PC or many other issues. Check out the forums at overclockers

  @winstonngo You can allow the software to do your O.C, however with research and practice you can manually O.C significantly higher. Overdrive is to allow anyone to achieve higher performance regardless of there previous experience.

  @UTubeLightBulb At the time of this build i was still on air cooling using a OCZ Vendetta 2 i later got a 4.1Ghz O.C when i switched to water cooliong. However i used the Kandalf LCS liquid cooling embeded case which i think is significantly inferior to a custom compiled water system.
