I started in television production at Fireman's Fund Insurance in 1982. For seven years I acquired skills and experienced the many facets of corporate media. In 1989 I made my way north to Post-Newsweek Cable in Santa Rosa and entered the world of cable advertising. There I learned about writing, directing, lighting and camera operation for thirty-second commercials. In 1994 I started working at KFTY 50 television in Santa Rosa and had an opportunity to grow as a commercial producer and photographer. Then in 1997, I left to work as an independent contractor.
