I'm just an average Joe with a middle class job. I never made a dime off my primitive folk songs. You'll never hear them on the radio because they aren't commercial. I'm not the best singer or guitar player and you'll never dance to my music. Folk is all about the message most all who hear my songs get it! A guy named Dylan wasn't the best singer either but he managed to do okay. I have been doing Occupy Wall Street themed music and videos going on almost a decade now, long before the movement began. My goal is not fame or fortune just to have an America that's described on the plaque at Ellis Island.

HERE'S A QUESTION ALL CHRISTIANS NEED TO ASK THEMSELVES - WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? GIVE TAX BREAKS TO THE RICH OR HELP THE OLD, SICK, AND POOR? IF YOUR ANSWER IS TO GIVE TAX BREAKS TO THE RICH. YOU HAVE NEITHER THE HEART OR MIND OF CHRIST. THE BIBLE CALLS SUCH HYPOCRITES " WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING" DON'T LET MONEY TAKE YOUR SOULS TO HELL!
GOD LIVES IN HEAVEN - NOT A BANK VAULT!

EARTHQUAKES, VOLCANOES, AND TSUNAMIS. THESE ARE THE LAST DAYS! "GOD BLESS AMERICA"? SAVE YOUR BREATH! SEE GOD DOESN'T BLESS ARROGANCE, GREED, AND PREJUDICE.
MONEY IS NOW THE GOD OF AMERICA! IT MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE EVERY TIME I HEAR SOME POLLYANNA SAY "GOD BLESS AMERICA". DOES IT REALLY LOOK LIKE THIS IS A BLESSED COUNTRY? TAKE A GOOD LOOK AROUND RUBES!
THE AMERICAN DREAM WAS JUST A SCHEME. SCREW YOUR NEIGHBORS! WHO GIVES A F$$$?

LOST FOR ETERNITY
I was born into this world without a care.
A happy child - fire engine red hair.
Love was all around me - I had my share,
but asleep inside me was deep despair.

In second grade I wrote a poem,
instinctively knowing where life was going.
If I had a spaceship, so silvery gray,
I'd take a trip high above the milky way.
Going right through the galaxy to see....
NOTHING! I'd be lost for eternity.

As I grew, the darkness did too.
Happy times became few.
My relatives aged - watched them die.
found it harder and harder to cry.
As a man, a family I had.
The children asked, "what's the matter with dad?"
"Doesn't he love me? Was I bad?"
Too young to explain the darkness had gained
causing my soul to no longer remain.
With my insides totally dead,
my goal in life - to get out of bed.

I fell on my knees, prayed to the Lord,
please lift this curse that I've endored.
It's been so hard, like walking in sand.
This kind of torment shouldn't happen, man!

Twenty years since I prayed that prayer.
Little has changed. Does the Lord care?
My children have grown. It was like a blur.
The special moments that didn't occur.

I'm middle aged now. Will this ever end?
As death draws closer, I feel it's my friend.
But what's worse than my waste of life,
is the way it's hurt my adoring wife.
Married 31 years, she kept her vows.
Displaying more patience than Heaven allows.

God, if this is the cross I must bear,
please numb my conscience so I don't care.
My full potential was never met.
My self-respect, I'll never get.
God, four requests before I die:
TO LOOK LIKE A MAN IN MY WIFE'S EYE.
TO GIVE HER A HOME WE'VE NEVER HAD.
TO BE A PROVIDER.
TO BE A DAD.
