Susan Raimondo, Senior Director of Advocacy & Programs for the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, was featured on WTNH News Channel 8 during its Purpose show, which aired Dec. 9. The program focused on people across Connecticut who are giving back to their communities.
Raimondo has been with the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter for more than 20 years and was one of three "Get Away With GMA" winners from Hartford, who got to join the new cruise ship Oasis of the Seas for its maiden voyage.

Valentine has been involved with the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter and its annual MS Dinner of Champions for more than 30 years. This year's event raised more than $260,000 to help keep scientific research moving forward to better treatments and a cure. The funds also provide for vital programs and services offered by the chapter to the more than 6,000 Connecticut residents living with the potentially debilitating effects of multiple sclerosis.
