Oh you're so right! ANY time I've been in Ireland, as a "Yank" I've been treated like royalty. Of course, there was the time I was dressed in street clothes and these two young ladies were becoming rather friendly. Boy were they surprised when the owner of the pub asked for "Fr Amaro" to come up and sing a song for them. LOL They asked this red headed woman, "Did you know he's a priest?" She said, "Yes, he's my son." there were a lot of red faces there too! LOL

Well, I'm just a simple parish priest. But I've been to Ireland many times. and, me mother was a "red headed Doyle!" I'm also a documented direct decendent of Brian Bórumha (or Brian Boru)!

Somehow I don't think you're singing about Dublin, California. LOL I've been to Dublin Ireland many times. I am saddened that it's become so "American" over the past few years. I love Ireland. You can tell by the video I sent you. God bless, Fr.
