I grew up in Roswell just north of Atlanta Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2006, where I majored in Microbiology and minored in Genetics. For the last two years I have attended Graduate School at Emory University in Atlanta, where I was earning my PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. About nine months ago I started questioning whether I wanted to pursue a career in science. Six months after that, I decided that my heart was not in what I was doing, and I made the decision to leave graduate school. Since then I have been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. When the opportunity to become a College Republican Field Representative presented itself, I jumped at the chance. I have always wanted to opportunity to get involved in political campaigns, but because of my studies I never had the time or opportunity.

I love reading and debating. I look forward to using both of these passions in the field.
