Great job on the refinish, and playing too! Last year I redid my hideous day-glo orange-pink 1987 Ibanez 550 to a more earthly dark green with brown and yellow wood grain. It was a fun project and luckily it still shreds, heh.

These are awesome guitars. I put a roller bridge and black tusq nut on mine, and now it stays in tune no matter how much I use the bar. Highly recommended for this version VII. Mini-humbuckers are sweet! No other guitar sounds or looks quite like it.
