@jp3813 Spielberg revealed a few months back that he regrets the changes to E.T. and that he will not be making any more alterations to any of his films. He even said when he eventually releases E.T. to Blu-Ray it will be the 1982 film. If only George Lucas had that attitude.

Actually, MGM owns The Terminator now, the first one at least.

The VHS edition shown in the last trailer was the first copy of E.T. I owned.
