CREACTIVESISTERS FILM HOUSE

CreActiveSisters Film House is an independent film production house, whose interest is to develop artistic and cultural projects that tend to the information emancipation, to the development of human sensitivity and to the social evolution of the personal and communitarian world. From 2006 to nowadays, CreActiveSisters produced experimental, surreal short movies and documentaries that investigate the theme is another world possible? in its factual possibilities of building a new social and cultural world learning from the historical successes and failures, from the experiences and opinions of whom acts in the respect of humanity and of the earth for a world without war and oppression that looks for and walks towards a third way on which to found a new world. FILMING!

Film documentaries like NO and like BEVAR CHRISTIANIA are among the documentaries that look towards a third way. NO looks towards pacifists that opposes the construction of another US military base on the Italian territory, while Bevar Christiania lives within a hippy community that resists in the middle of Copenhagen. A trip inside out Christiania that presents its inhabitants, their values and thoughts; a movie that tries to understand and define the borders between the outside world and the Freetown. Borders that disappear as soon as you stop thinking of them as doors towards specific economic interests and start thinking of them as points of meeting between people, as freedom of spirit and of a thought that unites, instead of separating, the whole world. Borders that finally become doors of freedom when people start talking about the only border that must be respected by everyone: nature. Nature is the first welcome neighbour in Christiania, and the first Christianite that hosted the rest of them for three generations now. Experimental Surreal Film include FERY SUPERSTITIOUS, a three minutes short movie that deals with the theme of superstition as magnification of personal fear and object of the distance between the individual and the world, and BIANCAEVEN, a ten minutes short movie that, analysing the popular origin of the story tale and focusing on the original Grimms Brothers version of Snowwhite, arrives to present a personal interpretation in hard rock style for underlining the story of Snowwhite as an experience of personal and whole female growth, the passage from youth to adulthood. Seduced from her own sense of vanity, Snowwhite and its innocence are won by the consciousness of her own beauty which causing the awareness of a sense of vanity within herself that collapse her purity. It will be the consciousness of this defeat that will induce the character to a face to face among these two extreme parts of her personality-character-human nature until arriving to the point of accepting them as one part of herself and make them living in balance in her new self: the self of a real woman, aware of good and evil instincts that animate her self and that she will learn to rule over and balance, after an ending kiss of herself to herself.
