Our TTC journey:
2001 or 2002...I knew my cycles were different.
2005- first doctor to suggest PCOS, this year.
Between 2005 and 2008- 5 more doctors mentioned PCOS....until finally...
September 2008- married!
December 2008--TTC begins...for us!
Between December 2008 and December 2009: Either a few "chemical Pregnancies, or just my hormones...again....craziness. Super roller coaster ride of a first year of marriage. Wouldn't wish it upon anyone. But it's made us stronger in our relationship and communication skills. :) Happier than ever now...finding joy in the process....
December 2009: Official diagnoses given. I had an inner & outer uterus ultrasound and FSH/LH blood test results indicate PCOS. My levels were 4:1 in ratio, and they should have been flipped, and within 5-10 points of each other....so, my hormones were WAY off, we found.
December 2009-February 2010: Prescribed Prometrium (progesterone) ...given till May to get pregnant on this medication, but the progesterone didn't do anything so I didn't continue with it.
May 2010 Contacted doctor as they asked me to do if I wasn't pregnant (TTC 18 months at this point). They referred me to the infertility clinic. Mason and I prayed about it, and decided that temporarily I'd go back to school to finish my degree, as we TTC with Clomid...we'll see how it goes, taking one step at time! So far, so good!
August 2010: Started school...! :) I can't wait till I graduate, but at the same time, school was the best thing we could have ever done for ourselves! Its given us the rejuvenation we needed to push forward! We are still people, non-the-less...not just baby making machines :)
January 2011: First round of Clomid. 50mg days 5-9. Ambiguous OPK's. :( I have hope for Round #2!
End of Feb/early March: Round #2 of Clomid 100mg days 5-9. Ambiguous OPK's again...hope for round #3!
April 2011- Round #3 of clomid, 150mg CD 5-9. Hot flashes SUCK! But this cycle we ovulated on Cycle Day 22!!!!!! This is my first ovulation ever recorded, which has been a 3 year long journey! This means I'm not Clomid-resistant! The Blood Test will confirm ovulation...but keep us in your prayers please! We'll test for pregnancy May 14th, 2011. Fingers Crossed!
May 11th, 2011 I FIND OUT I'M PREGNANT!!!!! DUE January 15th, 2012!!!! YAY Mason's sperm & Clomid!!!!

Congrats on your bundle of joy,just found your channel you are an inspiration to others. Not sure if I have PCOS r Hashimotos. going thru the testing now. this is frustrating.. but watching your vids inspire me not to lose faith. God answers prayers.. much love to you and your family
