"its one of those moments when life throws you a un-expected curve ball. I had one of those moments about 2 1/2 years ago when i got diagnosed with diabetes. Its like my whole world turned upside down. At the beginning of the tour, i found out. But on my way to the hospital that night, i made a commitment to myself. That I wouldn't let it slow me down. And i'm here today to tell you that it hasn't slowed me down. Now i know some people in this room who have come up to me and told me that my story has been a inspiration to them. Now, a couple months ago we were in Canada shooting a movie and I was having one of those days were things just weren't going my way. So I sat down and i wrote this song.
