Hi Nanaandpapa1, We never get any books from the publisher (I wish we did!) but I hear from a lot of folks that there are really good prices on books at half.com I also know that a lot of libraries bought the book and many participate in inter-library loans so that might be an option for you too. Lastly, if there is a quilting guild in your town they might have a copy of the book also. Let me know if I can help in any other way, okay? Marguerita

Hey Marguerita, I've been watching you videos and think you do a great job. I wandered over to Audrey Thomas' too and want to say I am so very impressed that you reached out to her to help her start a new hobby. I am anxious to try your "quilt as you go" technique and went to Paperback swap to try to round up a trade for your book. I have been using Paperback swap to trade books and build my quilting library and quilting expertise (just a beginner though, with a long way to go). Wanted to let you know that there is a waiting list for your book (I knew it was going to be good). I am #13 and may not be able to hold off that long. there is fabric calling me. soooooo, my question....... do you ever get "bumped books" from the publisher? (I think that's what they are called). can we barter? Keep up the good work. hugs jean

Love your way of quilting and your presentation. I have now made 3 quilts and have many quilting friends who are well on their way to making their first quilts. Keep on showing us your ideas they are brilliant and down to earth. I love sewing and quilting but do not like to follow a pattern as such and this has just freed me to experiment with all the lovely material I have collected over the past couple of years. Thank you Jenny Nash
