OK I admit it is possible that rappers might be clever in their lyrics.It is possible but due to their complete lack of credible musicianship rule them out as far as I am concerned.You can get clever lyrics in rock music without compromising the music.Listen to Jethro Tull,Bob Dylan,Peter Gabreil(Solo stuff and with Genesis),Lynyrd Skynyrd and many others.King Diamond is a incrdible song writer in the metal field in spite of his satanism.My point is you don't have to copmromise musicianship to get good lyrics.
