@veronicaDeVore...it is what it is i aint knocking your reply, in fact i agree to an extent but you need to understand where i am comin from. The real deal is the tonewheel hammond. Also it aint the instrument but the player that makes the difference.

often imitated....never duplicated hammond can not be beat i dont care if its a korg yamaha roland kurzwiel casio whatever....if it aint comin out of a real tonewheel hammond with a real leslie it just aint gonna have da same flavor. nord...no.

very very close to the b3 i think the xk3c got it as close as i have heard so far but very very very good job in the comparisons of the 2 instruments:)

its sound great and its portable love the rifs....just wondering if he is actually going through a leslie cab or is that internal(digital leslie) sound

what about the 820 hammond

now that is how its done. i had the pleasure of knowing him when he played at plesant grove in bklyn, met him through family and he is truly an annointed man of God and i thank god for the time he was here and he was and still is an inspiration to us comin behind him

OMG I first heard him through a student i was teaching and been hooked on him since. i brought his cd and everytime i play it .... lord have mercy it sends me in. and i havent heard many do what he does. he becomes one with the organ. JEEEEEESUUUUUUS!!!!!

i love his voicing for this ... and he becomes one with his instrument. i feel this from top to bottom. GRAVY:)
