About this user

I was born in Nigeria (that's in Africa for those of you who can't read a map) but I have lived in the US since the age of 2 so if you ever get the pleasure of talking to me in person, that is why I don't have an accent. My family speaks Yoruba which is one of the main languages in Nigeria. I may not speak the language as well as my parents but since my parents have spoken the language to me and my siblings since we were born, we all understand the language. I am very proud of my Nigerian background. If you want to know anything, ask me and I will be more than happy to talk to you about where I come from. I may be a US citizen but I am first and foremost a Nigerian always and forever until the day I die.
I have a very big place in my heart for kids and look forward to getting married one day and having some kids. I have a niece and 2 nephews but I can't wait to have a few of my own. I want to work with kids with disabilities teaching them theatre and music. I think that children with disabilities have so much to offer this world and sometimes they get greatly overlooked. I want to show the world what these kids are made of and what they can really do. Look out world, here they come!!!!
I enjoy the simple things in life. One of my greatest weapons in life is laughter. With all the craziness in the world, if you didn't laugh a little (or a lot) you would lose your mind. There are so many crap storms that in my life, if I didn't laugh, I would be committed somewhere right now. I laugh a lot, some may say too much but this life is too short to take yourself too seriously. If you can't learn to laugh at yourself then you can't learn to laugh. I laugh at myself all the time and whether you laugh at me or with me is up to you. When you laugh at yourself first, you take away the power of others to laugh at you. Crack a joke at your own expense one day and see how quickly the smiles will be wiped off the faces of those making fun of you. People can't have the power over you if you don't let them. As you may already be able to tell, I am also very sarcastic as is my whole family.

I love movies and that is evident by my movie collection. It is not as big as some but it is a lot bigger than anyone I know and it keeps growing by the day. I love comedies, musicals, and just about any cheesy movie out there. I am all about the cheese and I am a little cheesy myself but that's okay because that is how God made me and I am more than happy to just be me. I am not really a fan of horror movies though. I once went to see a horror film because a guy I liked was there and I was scared for like a week. I didn't even get to sit beside him during the movie so I would at least have someone to hold on to.
An essential survival tool in my life is my music. I carry my iPod everywhere I go even if I am just driving down the street to the local Kroger to buy a pack of gum. I listen to all kinds of music including country. For those of you in shock and awe because there is a black girl that listens to country, if you could pick your jaws off the floor, we can move on. I would rather spend a Saturday afternoon getting lost in Best Buy than going to the mall to shop for shoes and clothes. I very attracted to white guys and my celebrity crush is Ace Young from American Idol Season 5. That man has a voice like an angel, a smile that could cure any hurt, and eyes that you can get lost in. That's one person that I would love to meet before I die.
I'll stop there before I say anything else that could be very embarrassing later on. I am not really attracted to black guys so those of you who think you can turn me out, not happening. Sorry. I think that I have rambled on enough so I am going to stop there.
