Biography:

Chris Connolly was born on December 2nd 1977, in Belfast Northern Ireland. All his life Chris has been interested in music, Chris explains:

"I remember when I was a young lad, I used to play on my brother's synthesizer, and my mum bought me a toy keyboard".

In the early 90's as the dance scene really took off, Chris used to go clubbing at local nightclubs, and at one nightclub called Space Chris witnessed a local DJ called Dj Darryl play to a huge crowd. Chris was amazed at the response and respect that the crowd showed to Dj Darryl and from that point on Chris knew that he had to make Dance music part of his life.

At the tender Age of 17 Chris saved his money and bought his first set of decks. After months of locking himself within his room and perfecting his mixing, Chris took a tape to Elite Records in Belfast. In Realisation of Chris's talent Elite Records had obliged the talented 17 year old by requesting him continually for his productions.

In 1998 Chris got his first real taste of production. Chris was introduced to Mad Cow Studios by local DJ Modelle. Chris went in and took to producing as if he had been doing it for years. Chris - Craze Connolly - The Vibe was the first production to come from Chris. Many more productions would come from Chris over the next few years with tracks being made at Mad Cow Studios as well as other studios across Northern Ireland.

In 2003 Chris got licensed to a company in Japan called Toryumon, this company currently sell tracks produced by Chris himself. With the money Chris already made from licensing fees etc, he used the money like any wise produce and had invested in his own equipment. Currently Chris has been producing under the name of Ground Zer0.
And also Acidulous alongside Decky Aylward. Chris and Decky would play live performances at nightclubs throughout Northern Ireland. Chris has also been working on some tracks with Barry Wigham. Barry has more than likely worked with everyone in Northern Ireland who is involved with Dance Music Production. Including Agnelli and Nelson, Glen Molloy and Nice and Nasty Records.

The Future looks promising for Chris Connolly as he continuously produces promising track. Chris is a very enthusiastic person who is always willing to go the extra mile to achieve his goals. He also thoroughly enjoys bringing joy and passion for music to others. Chris Connolly is always willing to learn from his role models and in his words he describes:

"One day I hope to be up there with my idols Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and Armin, playing at venues such as Gatecrasher, Trance Energy and Sensation" Chris explains.
