In the Part One you mixed DC-3, and DC-6 airliners at Lindbergh with the Electra and the B-727s. Actually, the airlines largely stopped using the -3s and -6s when the Electra came on the scene (circa 1963). PSA transitioned into the B-727s later (circa 1966).

My step-father was Mike Bogle, Chief Pilot at PSA in the 1960's. I remember all of this vintage activity. I lived on the hill overlooking the airport and falling asleep to Electra reverse props on landings..the memories.
