The illegality of pot has nothing whatsoever to do with it being dangerous. A review of the American Journal of Medicine will lead all to conclude that salt and sugar are more detrimental to your overall health than pot is.
Meanwhile, billions of tax-dollars are used to combat pot and adjudicate the cases, and thousands upon thousands of otherwise positive contributing members of our societies lives are ruined. All because of our ridiculous draconian pot laws.
With a stroke of the pen, pot could simply be reclassified as a schedule class IV drug by the Bureau of Narcotics, and treated from start to finish - from production to consumption - like aspirin, and the pot "problem" would all but disappear. Most importantly, billions of tax-dollars could be used for more pressing issues.
