John Miles (born John Errington, 23 April 1949 in Jarrow, Tyne & Wear, England) is an English vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player.
Pilooski of the D*I*R*T*Y crew out of Paris have been doing these excellent remixes/edits of obscure disco and Motown/soul tracks for quite some time now, the Frankie Valli edit was featured on the Don Rimini mix we posted last friday. Pilooski originates from the wonderful world of a small part of France called Washingtone B.C. This larger than life birdy character is a long time friedcorn lover, a feather eater in his own right. After touring numerous places on planet earth (mainly France & Europe) & producing in diverse styles of music ranging from D'N'B (Vendome.rec) to the Hip & the Hop (Groove vibration...) here's a taste of things to come... A bunch of dirty, nasty, & lazy beats for the boys & the birds. Pilooski takes here the opportunity to invite his friends "in the business" to this joyful messy party. Mc Trinidad , a jealous mc who would kill for an unknown break, DJ Uneasy & DJ Fabe .....Forza!!
John Miles is best known for his 1976 Top 3 UK hit single, "Music". He was a member of the bands 'The Influence' (which also included Paul Thompson, later drummer with Roxy Music and Vic Malcolm, later lead guitarist with Geordie) and 'The John Miles Set', before starting his solo career in 1971.
Miles has toured with Tina Turner, often filling in for Bryan Adams when the latter was unavailable to join her on tour for their duet. Miles is also a frequent guest vocalist on albums by the Alan Parsons Project.
