It's also great cause lots of record companies give away music videos for free on YouTube and they hardly mind at all if you don't buy their CDs afterwards.

OMFG!

But I'm done explaining this brand new internet phenomenon, let's hear a little about me - in the creepy third person:

Captain Bringdown makes kids' music for adults from his palatial residence in Dublin, Ireland, where his custom-built geothermic wonderdome ensures the season remains permanently winter, like the dark inside us all.

The songs started life as a musical about Phil Lynott, the Pope and Four Apostles of Rock that never saw the light of day.

The Captain has played such salubrious venues as Nighthawks at the Cobalt Cafe, Dublin's Ha'penny Inn, The Glór Sessions in The International, The Brown Bread Mixtape and the Ukulele Hooley night, both in Shebeen Chic, The Bankers, Bia Bar, The Legal Eagle (terrible gig, sorry), Eamonn Doran's (RIP), Doyle's and the Tivoli Theatre (for a 24-hour charity gig that left everyone emotionally scarred) and Cork's Head of the River pub, which may or may not still exist.
