About Me:
I've had the most amazing horses in my lifetime, and each of them has taught me something special, things I never would have learned if I didn't have them in my life. I've made this channel in dedication to all of my beautiful horses, the ones who are gone, and still with me. I hope to share with you the love I have for them, and what I do. I make videos for the sole purpose of sharing my love for these beautiful animals with others around me. Please enjoy.
A little (or a lot) about me, and the horses in my videos:
I currently just have one horse now, his name is Bruno and he is all I could ever ask for. I used to show him nationally, he's taken me to the congress and world show. But he had to be permanently retired because we found out in an MRI scan he's had a fractured navicular bone for most of his life. We found out so late because he was never lame on it, he just pushed through the pain- until one day we pulled him out of his stall after a big show and he was three-legged lame. So much happened to me after that, and it's so hard to explain... We thought we had to put Bruno down- so to help me get over such a horrible loss (I was absolutely devastated) my parents decided to buy me a two year old (the bay gelding in my videos). Two days after we bought him he ended up kicking me in the face. Six titanium plates and twelve screws later I look like my old self (I almost died- had to have plastic surgery check out my vlogs) and because it was such a devastating injury my parents put Bruno on hold (we didn't proceed to put him down). As I was healing, Bruno got stronger- he didn't limp all the time and he truly helped me pull through my injury. After two months of mental, physical, and emotional pain- I finally got back on a horse, the horse that kicked me. We ended up calling him Giovanni, he is such a great horse, and it wasn't his fault. I showed and enjoyed him for two years- up until November 11' we sold him :( because I was at school, and he was too cool and young of a horse to sit at home and wait for me. He's got a wonderful home, and I truly miss him. So that's why all my recent videos are just of Bruno. I can still ride Bruno lightly, but his leg will never be able to take that hard stress of being a show horse. And because of his injury I try to do less and less with him, I want to keep him in my life for as long as possible.
He's that symbol in my life that no matter how broken you are, there's nothing so bad that you can't overcome.
