My friend is scottish fold Breeder.
She gave me Cotton.

Cotton right now is actually 1 years old (b'day April 10.2008).
Earlier time when I uploaded video of slightly grown Cotton, it wasn't liked as well as her baby videos.
I thought about it, and agreed that baby kittens are just much cuter, and haven't uploaded her current videos since.
I still think she is adorable and my family and I cherish her.
By uploading Cotton's videos, I received many messages from people inspired to have a cat as well.
I am happy to have received those messages, but since Scottish Folds are more difficult to take care of than other breed of cats, learn about them a bit before welcoming them as your family.



Everyday, about a thousand dogs and cats are put to sleep in Japan. Some are stray, some are abandoned by the owners.

It is my hope that if someone in the world sees my video and think of those poor animals and maybe give a good home to one of them someday.

いつもコットンの動画をみてくれてありがとうございます

現在　コットンは　実は一歳なんです（４月１０日生まれです）

以前　ちょっと大きいコットンの動画をＵＰしたら　なんだかちょっと不評で　考えてみたら　そりゃそーか　と　納得しまして　あまりＵＰしてないんです^^;

でも　今でも最高に可愛いし　本当に私達の宝物なんですよ

コットンの動画を　ＵＰしたことで　何人かの方々から　私も飼います！との　メッセージを頂いて　非常にうれしいのですが　実際　スコティッシュは難しい猫（心臓病などおこしやすく　骨の病気にもなりやすいです）なので　良く勉強してからにして下さいねｖ




毎日　大量の野良犬や野良猫そして「もう　飼えない」と持ち込まれる犬猫が処分とゆうかたちをとられていま す
（日本では毎日　１０００匹近く　殺処分）　

他の国では　どーなっているのかわかりませんが　もしも　私の動画で　動物を家族に迎えたいと考えてくれる方がいらっしゃるなら
もしかしたら　そー言った殺処分される動物を　救うチャンスかもしれません

ペットショップなどでよくブリーダーになることを薦める方の話を 聞きますが　私はブリーダーになることは反対します

ほとんどのペットショップで　売れ残っていく動物達は処分されています　
例えば　その売れ残っている動物を　可哀想だと買い取ってあげても　また新たに新しい命の発注が行われるだけなんです

「良いブリーダー」になることは　本当に難しいです
生き物である以上　常に病気の心配があります


みんなが知識を持てば　きっと　殺処分される動物も減ると思います

日本でも　段々良い話が聞けるようにもなってきていますが
今はまだ　多くの人達にペットをおもちゃとしか思ってもらえていません
まだまだ私も勉強中ですが　不幸な結末を迎えるペット達が　一匹もいなくなる様に　日本人みんなで勉強するべきですよね

ペットは家族なんです　なんでみんな大事な家族すてれるんでしょう・・・
