I loved the song and still do. I was 11 when it came out and it was a massive hit here in Australia, pretty sure it was number 1 for a few weeks and got lots of airplay. It is simply a song of great beauty the simple words and melody, harmonies and orchestral arrangement. It gives me chills.

I was 14 or so at the time and blame this ad for drinking Tooheys! Alot of famous faces in there, I think I saw Graeme Hughes talking to Gus in the change rooms, along with Ian Davis & Alan Turner, Lillee, Marsh Walters, Rixon, Pascoe. Great stuff.
