An experiment. Go to any of our fine convenience stores and purchase a large soft drink. Now consume it then cut some holes representing windows in its sides. Get some cotton balls, soak them in kerosene and place them in your driveway or outside the opening of your hut. Light them on fire and place your empty container over the burning cotton balls. Now quickly from a height of 12 inches drop a bowling ball on top of the cup. Watch in stuptified speculation as the flaming balls shoot outward from the smashed cup.
