Did you see the Bert Haanstra movie 'Glas'. It won an oscar in 1958. It's a great documentary.

Hey i aw you guys make a pink elephant, I went there for a feild trip one time and you guys inspired me to maybe minor in glass making or soemthing..yea ive been in love with glass ever since.

I once had a pyrex caserole dish explode when I took it out of the oven. I was baking diced potatoes in hot butter at a 450 degrees. When I set the hot glass caserole dish onto the metal burner covers of the gas stovetop, the dish completely exploded. Glass and hot food when flying in every direction, fortunately nobody was injured! What happened?
