I can not tell you how much I am enjoying the Rexford Institute on Edge from February 1981. I was, and still consider myself to be a lifelong fan of Edge, but during the months of Feb-April 1981, my dear mother was hospitalized with her final illness. She died two weeks after Edge's 25th birthday and six days before mine. I was fortunate to be one of only two fans invited to Edge's final taping in Dec. 1984. My memories of Edge can be read in the new book 'Survival if Soap Opera: Transformations for a New Media Era,' University of Mississippi Press, Dec. 2010.
