THE SHOW! is a one hour rock/folk opera that is conceived of as a complete immersion experience for audiences. EVERYTHING is 100% original work of Lexingtonians. THE SHOW!'s creators, Theo Edmonds (story/concept/direction/lyric s) and Collin Deatherage (music/lyrics), call it "organic creativity". THE SHOW!is part Homer's Odyssey, part The Stephen Foster Story, part Cirque du Soleil and part STOMP!and is a theatrical feast for the senses that, in reality, is a one hour lesson on finding the courage and freedom to live the life you were meant to live. It is the story of a young rock star who loses everything, and in the process awakens to a path of spiritual purpose more fulfilling than he could have ever imagined. The concept and story for THE SHOW! is based on the "Rebel Prophet" series of writings by Kentuckian, Theo Edmonds.
