I was an avid Billy Fury fan when I was a very young teenager, I went to see him at The Tooting Granada, and I was absolutely certain he looked at me, oh yes ... out of all the hundreds of people in the audience ... he looked at ME .... big LOL !!!

Such a shame he had to die so young. RIP Billy <3

WOW .... love it .... takes me right back to Studio 51 .... then off to Bunjies for something to eat ... what memories !!!!

on the b-side of the original record was a recording of the Barundi without the backing musicians .... just pure African drums ... I loved it, but no-one has posted it as far as I can see ..... pleeeeaaaase can someone post it ???

For me, the highlight of The Moor and Coast folk weekend at Whitby was watching Feet First. Absolutely love them, they just seem to have boundless energy and enthusiasm. It's happy music, happy dancing and you can't help smiling when you watch them !!!

I have so many happy memories of this band ... and their "cottage" in St. Johns Wood, London, in the early 70's. They were such nice guys too !!
