I enjoy Tim Buckley's original performances of this song more, but that shouldn't take away from what John Frusciante did here. This is a beautiful rendition of an absolutely gorgeous song.

Don't feel bad for Anthony. His singing was WAAAAY off-key on this, and that's all on him! No amount of John trying to make him miss his cues can be at fault for a singer just not hitting his notes.
Anyway, yeah, pretty awful, intentional or otherwise.
