Founder and first President for the Society of the War of 1812, in the State of California. The State Society was chartered by the General Society on March 4, 1989, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I served as President from 1989 to 1991, when I was elected to be State Treasurer. I served in that capacity from 1991 to 2008. Additionally, I am District Deputy President General for the Pacific Area, for the General Society of the War of 1812, serving from 1993 to the present.
