Convergence was born in 2001 by the hand of guitarist Giacomo Mambriani. The project got finally shape in 2003, when
Michelangelo Naldini (Drums), Massimiliano Andrini (Bass) and Alessandro Palladini (Vocals) joined the band in 2003 and
started to work on their first album, with the supervision of their producer Giordano Occhi. The results are the ten songs
that compose their debut album "Points of View" which, after two year of self-promotion, allowed the band to sign a deal
with Casket Records (Uk) and Plastic Head (UK), to distribute the album in Europe and worldwide.
From 2004 to 2006 the band have promoted "Points of View" through an intense live activity, playing more than 150
concerts in the main italian clubs and with many italian bands like: Linea 77, Extrema, Exilia, Velvet, Guilty Method. The
band did also a mini tour in Germany (april 2006). The band recorded one video for the song "Silent" with the director
CARLO STRATA (Vasco Rossi, El Muniria, Mistonocivo), and signed two endorsement deals with dB TECHNOLOGIES
(wireless systems) and MOKHA STYLE (clothing).
Thanks to their promotion agency, ALKEMIST FANATIX, in July 2006 the band signed a distribution deal with Casket
Records/Plastic Head (Uk) for the worldwide distribution of "Points of View".
From June 2007 to July 2007 the band have been on Tour in UK, playing 8 gigs in England and Galles (Underworld-
London, The Hub-Exeter, The George-Andover, etc); also supporting cool acts (Mother Superior, My minds weapons,
Overshadows).
After the tour, Convergence started the recordings of new material still with the producer Giordano Occhi.
A new mix between rock, metal and electronic music, will feature the band new style, expect something really personal and fresh!
