Aspiring Organist, trying my best to learn the pipe organ, cannot stand pop music (talking of the autotune justin bieber rubbish) it doesn't have feeling and emotion, why does it have to rule the world of music, why do we have to dumb music down so much and why do we pay to turn these talentless nobodies into celebrities. Composers wrote timeless pieces, things that you could listen to again and relive anytime that were important enough to archive, pop has its slot on the radio for a month then its gone. Classical is the most expressive, dramatic, and passionate of music and always will be, it is incomparable to any 4 chord piece of rubbish excuse of a song any day. Massive Mahler fan, at the moment I'm trying to transcribe some of his works to organ. Mahler Symphony no 8 would have to be a favourite work, it puts the whole world in one piece, only Mahler could pull off something like the 8th.
