random musings from a moderately disallusioned guy

I like (as well as hate) a lot of different things... perhaps I will share them with you.

I also waste too much time on the interwebs, but I'm working on turning that time into something meaningful.

I'm trying to quit smoking. It's hard.

Interests:
Manga/Anime, Robots (naturally), Fighting Ships (of the line), Psychology, Astronomy, the Beat generation, Steampunk, Movies/Film, Reading/Writing, Books/Poetry, Exotic Fish/Animals, Ancient/"Primitive" cultures, the Human condition...

Things I Dislike:
Being somewhat of a pack-rat, doing laundry, paying bills and/or taxes, waking up when I'm tired, knowing that smoking is killing me, parking tickets, cleaning anything in general (I'm kinda lazy), wanting things I neither need nor can afford... so on and so forth.

Please feel to send me comments, questions, death threats, and anything else you think could help improve this... experiment in narcissism.
