Doug Rimerman is the sole band member of the Los Angeles-based Constant Flux audio/visual project. He began writing experimental electronic music in 1987 and launched his music and visual artist project as Constant Flux in 1995. Rimerman teamed up with visual artist Yo Suzuki (Lovemushroom) in 2001 to begin headlining at major art institutions and events including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, Southern California Institute of Architecture, LA Art Fest and more.
Constant Flux has also started performing with motion visual artist FOC:EYE (Ren Yoneyama) in addition to Lovemushroom. In 2006, Rimerman and Yoneyama were invited to present audio/visual concerts for A+D Architecture and Design Museum as well as for Apple Computers. As an experimental electronic music writer, he has enjoyed the good fortune of being aired on radio shows around the globe. In August 2002, Lakeshore Motion Pictures Run Recordings subdivision released the Constant Flux album entitled All Things Change. The follow up LP is Disentangled Elements, which is due to be available later this year.
You can find All Things Change for sale on iTunes and eMusic as well as other online music services. It can also be purchased at a record store near you.
