My status at this point would probably have to be "potential catechumen". I have been raised in a very devout, passionately Christian family that also happens to be Protestant. However, my immediate family members are similar to me in their honest appreciation and respect for Catholicism, and all my experiences with Catholicism have been positive and inspiring. Recently I have studied the teachings and practices of the Church and I feel that, to be completely honest with myself, there are a few (note: few!) that I cannot yet embrace wholeheartedly. You are MORE THAN WELCOME to pray for me, that God will lead me where He wants me... in the meantime I am just taking one day at a time, following Jesus Christ. :) You rock!!! Please keep talking to me!

Wonderful to hear that you got to visit them! Aren't they just wonderful? I love those darned sisters haha. God bless and .... safe to assume you're at least thinking about yourself becoming Catholic?
