Was this ever proved to be the con it is. I thought it was weird that they used metres and metres of cable laying it all about the place so you couldn't see the full lengths/ends in the video.
@YoulesRacing ....Thanks mate, as a young man in Africa I had an engine with an 86mm crank and 74.155mm pistons from a triumph. I had to leave it behind when we left to go to the UK. It ran a 649 and an IDA weber (I still have them after 35 years). Now I am in Australia and wanting to build a go...
Thats my neighbour Ian tweaking the battery and driving it at 5.12 into the video. I have seen this car close up and it is very impressive. The restoration work done by the museum team is nothing short of miraculous. It is on display in Canberra......worth a visit.
