Connectivity Africa was designed to promote research, development and innovation in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for progress in Africa, focusing on the areas of education, health and the economy. It was implemented by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), in partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
