Mixing powerful visuals, humor, and serious messages, Connected takes audiences on a stream-of-consciousness ride through the interconnectedness of humankind, nature, progress and morality at the dawn of the 21st Century. This film, discussion and Internet project explores the surprising links between biology, technology, and culture, illuminating the complex relationships between our actions and the world.

Breaking from traditional documentary form, Connected is part documentary, part narrative, and part something completely different. It employs a symbolic collage of images, animation, and graphics in different contexts, making viewers laugh, think, and then rethink their preconceptions of progress, independence, and the consequences of their actions in an interdependent world.

This was nice movie about a girl and her dad which makes the above trailer seem a bit of false advertising. I was disappointed that there were no new ideas or solutions presented. The inequities of technology around the world were not explored. The environmental impact of technology was touch upon but no solutions were offered. I expected to leave with some hope or a new or richer way to look at interdependence. It fell flat at the end.

All these attacks are energy insideout, telling you you are powerful and are creating change already.

Great movie and great message. The xenophobes are only a minority and will get even less as time goes on and humanity progresses further. All humans are equal, regardless of our race, culture, religion or lack of it, we're all part of one species and dependant on each other. Very positive message, one that the world needs. Lets make love, not war!
