i am a bronx ny negrorican.i started playing wit bands at 15.after 10yrs i stopped playing to persue boxing and then ,competive body building.i always played handball i returned 2 music 25yrs later after seeing n hearing the great giovanni hildalgo.ive been playing ever since and have meet n played wit some great musicians since.my passion are the congas n i teach n work with those who have the same passion 2 keep the culture alive .no matter how good u get stay respectfull ,humble, open minded ,study the history of the drums,be patient n practice, practice,practice,it is so soul fullfilling meeting and playing wit others who are the same way ,there is no limit 2 wat u can do
