Hey, Confused Matthew. I was wondering, if you have the time, could you do a review of one of my all time favorite movies, The Shawshank Redemption? I think it would be an intriguing review.

In my opinion, it's a very good movie and there are several likeable characters.

the new kingkong wasnt so bad i actually enjoyed it though i have only seen snippets of the bad cgi origional. maybe matthew can finally explain to me what was so bad about it...other than htf they brought the gorilla back on the already damaged boat, i liked it.

DonaldvsSephy: I liked King Kong, but just like everyone else, I too agree it was a bit too much. You could take out most of the first hour of the film and not miss anything. People get on a boat and find an island. There, just saved an hour by saying that. In fact, I'm gonna just go ahead and say that I am probably one of the many guilty individuals who just skips to when the first get to the island when I watch the DVD. Also, the last couple of scenes, while trying to be touching, tend to feel very drawn out.

Can't wait for yer King Kong review. THAT is one I'm familiar with unlike your first one I saw, so I'd be able to see your points better (I'm sure we can both agree, DID THIS MOVIE REAAAALLY HAVE TO BE THREE FRIEKING HOURS!?!).

When I just saw the Departed again, I understood why Mark Whalberg was the only one nominated for an Academy Award.

As far as the Godfathers, and what I remember about what I saw of them, the second one was more intense of a story, and less sinister.

The Departed? What was so wrong with that? Sure, the Boston accents get annoying, but I didn't feel that there was anything really wrong with it.
