Yeah, I haven't been down there since 2009, but I still get their newsletter through e-mail. I used to get down there at least once a year, but ever since I adopted a dog and went back to college traveling has been a lot more difficult thing to do. (Gotta get her booked at the kennel 2 weeks ahead of time, gotta try to get a decent priced plane flight without missing class,etc.) Anyway, I wanted to go down there this spring break, but it's looking like summer would work better.

Dunedin is an awesome because: 1. It was originally founded by Scottish immigrants (the name comes from Dùn Èideann, the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland) and it's almost like a small town hidden in the huge metropolitan Tampa Bay area. and 2. If you want the bigger city type stuff you just drive a few miles and you're in Clearwater.

Bell's Special Double Cream Stout:This wonderful Cream Stout is solid in all ways,having a great mouth feel and a taste that cannot be beat off with a stick!At the risk of sounding redundant it is very creamy,unfiltered,and unpasteurized.At 11.99 a six pack it sounds expensive but is really a great buy,being worth every dollar spent!I don't recall the apv on this but it was high enough that it punched like an Irishman!!!This one gets a 5 thumbs up in my book of brews!

Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial I.P.A:This Ale was not my favorite,being a bit over hopped for my tastes,lending it a much too spicy bite and after taste that I couldn't totally get use to!It did however have a mean punch with an apv of 9.0 and I must say I didn't waste a drop of this heady brew!It was voted America's favorite beer in 03,04 and 05 so maybe I'm just not cut out for this I.P.A!It gets a 1 thumb up for me!
