This is a fantastic album, I bought it when it first came out, about 1978. They are all on there.

Eric Clapton playing guitar & Dobro, he's on this track too, lilting melody at the close.

None of the original albums have been released on cd, its all compilations out there.

Come ON. I want Yellow Moon, Listen to the Radio, Country Boy..they are fantastic.

Oh yeah, this is ANOTHER eric rarity. The only part of the movie that featured his music is the opening 3 minutes! But its brilliant. BUt the action starts before the music is finished. Bazza!

Eyesight to the Blind, originally from The Who album Tommy, this was recorded on 25 June 1975 and can be found on the Eric Clapton Crossroads 2 live 4cd collection.

Just seen him do this in Birmingham, England. Bless him. He got a standing ovation, it was the last night of his final tour here. We will remember Glen and his wonderful family band with much fondness and appreciation.

I don't think Eric was ever going to copy David Gilmour note for note. What's the point? The original man cannot be bettered. What it is is an Eric Clapton solo, which on it's own is great! I guess if Dave played Layla we'd be going..'oh no'

This a JJ Cale song. Eric recorded a song with same title on the Behind The Sun album album in 1985 which is altogether different.

This was from Strictly Come Dancing on 3rd October 2009 on the UK TV show. The States took it and called it Dancing With the Stars.

The August album is 25 years old this year. I remember him performing this with Tina at a Princes Trust concert!

Well, chatty Eric ! I saw him at Cardiff last week. A very good show, but he only spoke three words, Good Evening and Thank you. He just gets better and better doesn't he? 66 years old, where has the time gone!

We were there on the 14th. What a great show, his singing was fantastic and playing simply wonderful.

The piano section was played by drummer Jim Gordon after Layla had been cut. It was decided that the piano worked as a gentle refrain after the power chords so was added to the end of the track. In his early solo years, Eric sometimes performed Layla without the piano.
