This is not true, only the 2004 USA models were available with the 3.5 DI motor, the previous years and "standard" 2004 models had the 3.2 liter normal fuel injection motor. The Axiom had the 3.5, but gained Direct Injection as standard for its last year in 2004.

The Omni/Horizon was more closely related to the European model than the Escort was to the European verion...lmao

That motor is already f'ed beyond economical repair. With some many 4.0 Jeeps in salvage yards, a good used or reman'ed motor replacement makes alot more sense than rebuilding the existing one.

Wrong, the Eagle sedans was made through 1987. The Coupe and Kammback died after 1982, the SX4 after 1983. The AMC Concord/Spirits had the same changes except the Concord wagon also died in 1983.

Your car reminds me of my 1996 Grand Marquis LS HPP I put aftermarket LX Sport wheels on with 235/55-17 tires. Mine had digi dash, EATC, dual power seats, premium sound with factory amp, keyless entry, pretty much every option except leather.

These cars don't have "air shocks", all 90-2011 LIncoln Town cars and optionally on 1992-2011 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis have self levellling rear air suspension with air SPRINGS, not shocks. The shocks are normal monotube style shocks, only the springs are air (airbag springs)...

In 1992 they didn't have the LT1 available in the Caprice. And not counting the marauder with 302hp, the late model 250hp police interceptors run about the same acceleration the 96 Caprices did but with way better gas mileage.

You should get the steering column cover off a Crown Vic Sport, Grand Marquis LSE, or Marauder...the dash clusters on those also eliminated the P R N D gear indicator
