Pretty cool idea for a wire saw, but, after spending years using different "survival saws", I'm NOT a big fan of "commando" or "wire" saws-I prefer Sabrecut or similar saws. The wire saw is an option for people who have little or no space in their survival kit, otherwise, look at other options.

I would stick with the MiniX, as I own one, and the emitter can better support the RCR's I run in it. One caveat- If you DO use RCR's use high mode SPARINGLY and, dont expect David and his staff at 4sevens to cover repairs if you burn it out from overdriving it!
