It was most probably recorded in the same studio where Holly cut his earlier and best hits, Clovis,NM. It's been stated often that Ray Ruff couldn't sing, but actually his voice was about as good as the average recording artist of his era...thumbs up!

Darsa was a small label out of Roswell,NM owned by Jimmy Blakley. I don't think there was anyone but Bob Buster on both sides.He probably was backed by the Blakley family, Cliff on lead guitar! I'm not an expert but I'm told that I own the very recorder this was cut on...LOL!
