About Me:
Most people assume the name "Coitus Snakes" means something dirty like sex or fuck stick "ie" a cock, and thats understandable. Hell thats half the charm. But it actually means something very differnt.
"COITUS" means to have sex, sex to me is a form of expressing ones love ( and very passionatly i might add too) so "COITUS" becomes "LOVE".
"SNAKE(S)" is a family of reptile (and i keep these as pets) in witch the bible reffers to as evil. "ADAM AND EVE AS DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK OF GENESIS is an exccalant example. (many people also hate snakes) so "SNAKE = EVIL" And "Evil is a form if not the source of "Hate"
thus "SNAKE(S) " becomes "HATE".
so "COITUS SNAKES" means "LOVE AND HATE" (Witch happens to be the two feelings and emotions i feel regarding most everything in my life)
my music is awsome. im mostly influenced by guns n roses (slash) and megadeth (dave mustaine). i also have strong infleuinces with funk, bluegrass, blues and 60's, 70,s and 80,s rock and roll.
i write and record mostly origanal stuff, and can play lead and rythm. i also play a little bass here and there. and i like trying new instruments when i can.
my guitar playing and musical skills are nothing but emotion. what i play comes straight from the heart, and is infleunced by what i am feeling at the time. whether it be influenced by hate, love, anger, lust, depression, meloncoly or happynesswhat matters is that it comes through on the guitar. and i dont give a fuck about the "who can play the fastest" or "whos the most technical" bullshit cliches' you find with most musicians these days. and i sure as fuck dont give a shit about rivalries, or musicians with egos.
im just an old-school retro rocker. liadback and willing to jam with just about anybody at anytime. im always trying to sart a band so i can get out there and play for the world. the only thing that has stopped me is the amount of musicans lacking skills and talents in my area. and the jealousy surrounding that. it tottaly fuckin sucks n' shit.
i single handedly offendid the whole music community of kingston ont. without even leaving my home. i offendid a local radio station because they said they would air an add for me about starting a band (witch seems like a fairly simple task) and when they fell threw on that i was more than happy to let them know what i thaught and how i felt.
i offendid a rather shitty band (if you could even call them that) i wont name the band but heres a clue- (the jokers anthem) because i completly blew them away at a audition (if you could even call it that). i played there songs better than they did and i hadnt even heard or played them before, and then proceeded to tell them that i play far more advanced stuff then they did. (wich is very true). anyway long short they fucked me around for months untill i called them on it, then they said they wernt impressed with what i had to offer. so told them again axactly how i thaught and felt, and ther poser pussy egos couldnt handle that, and come to think of it im still waiting for a "rock and roll train" of rockers to come "punch me out". and that was like a year ago. hahaha.
anyway moral of the story is im a real true rocker that doesnt tolerate bullshit. i just wanna rock and have a good time.
