Beautiful voice but why is the tempo so deathly slow?

How are we supposed to take your show seriously when

you don't accurately represent the airplane involved?

(At the beginning you identify the doomed airplane as

an MD-80 but, inexplicably, you correspondingly show

video at that point of an older model DC-9-30).

Oh brother; does this video bring back memories of

earaches while flying Eastern's DC-9-30s to visit my

grandmothers in Allentown.

Nice speech; hope he treated those students better than

he treated the professional musicians of the Richardson

Symphony. Oh, that's right: he and the management of

the RSO want to get rid of the pros in order to replace them

with students. Guess he does treat them better.

Just changed my flat. Two things that could have been explained better, for a complete novice like me:

1) You say "Check the bead," but you don't explain exactly what

the bead is. I'm guessing it's how the tire fits in the rim (no bulging, etc., as you do say. You know of the term "the bead,"...

Awesome to see this approach from a plane. The few years I lived in Honolulu, I

never got to make this approach, but I certainly enjoyed my plane-watching days

on the beach (San Souci right near Diamond Head) and Ala Moana Beach Park

closer to downtown) when the wind brought the planes into HNL ...

Really like this performance/interpretation. Don't get why

people go nuts over the "scholarly" interpretations of one

as far as I'm concerned (they all sound like technical exercises

with dreadfully slow tempos and every single note p...

Love it; so nice to hear Baroque music that's not encumbered with weighty tempos or, relatedly, making every single note important, as so many soloists are taught to do. Naysayers can spit at the Baroque performance-practice movement all they want; this is just great music-making.
