Cocoa was born August 9th, 1994.
VERY SAD NEWS Update. May 31st, Cocoa passed into God's hand 2 months shy of his 14th birthday. Last w/e he went into G.I. stasis, but rallied with the help of meds and was good for a week, but there was a gradual decline. This am, he wouldn't eat except some blueberries, so I knew it was time. The vet's office was near closing, so it was nice & quiet. An exam revealed Cocoa was jaundiced/liver failure. Hubby Ray was with me in the office as I held Cocoa while he got his shot. The vet said it would take about 10 minutes, but Cocoa was gone in 3 or 4. He must have been very tired. I'm happy that he is now well & happy in heaven. I'll look forward to seeing him when I get there. Thanks to all of you who loved him in his life, and helped him with your resources and prayers when he was ill. You are blessed.
