@TheNorthernSoulKing The First Calvary Division was "Air Mobile" at the time. We were "grunts" so listening to music was no problem when we had down time.
I served with the First Cavalry Division as a platoon Medic in 1966-1967. My brother served in 1967-1968 with the 25th. When I left Vietnam I was stationed with the 25 Infantry Division's Nuclear Battalion in Hawaii.
The only people that care about us Vietnam Veterans are other Vietnam Veterans. They hung us out to dry and left us to take care of ourselves, not caring about us or what happened to us. That's Okay, we take care of our own.
Everyone should remember that the only people that care about the Vietnam Veteran are other Vietnam Veterans. Its been that way since the war ended and will always be that way.
