I really liked Furry Pals, Elliot's Zoo and Verne - all of these seem like the best new concepts there. I want to like Hamshanks, but worried it'll end up edited like Regular Show is in the UK, and Pinky Malinky seems a little short on possibilities, but maybe I'm being too critical there. I am however quite sure that Mutant Moments should be scrapped, if only on the grounds that it feels far too much like "Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids"
I'm glad CN Europe is slowly getting a larger network presence. Some of these shorts are great (Verne), and others are... not so great (Pinky Malinko). All in all though, I hope you guys keep at it so that you may stumble into another hit like Gumball seems poised to be.
If I have any specific advice, it's that you really shouldn't pigeonhole yourselves into the current trend of bombastically trippy humor. Animation fans would love to see a large variety of concepts and styles -- we'd even love to see different genres, if that's possible. Judging by the enormously high production values poured into all of these shorts, you guys certainly have the potential to push animation into new boundaries.
All the best,
Jonathan
I liked Furry Pals but I don't see how it can work as a series, I also liked Verne on Vacation and I can see that working, I really hope you make more!
Another couple of years though and I'll be knocking with a showreel, although CNDSE will hopefully have the power to rival the american animation industry alone by then. Good luck guys and carry on making such brilliant and inspiring stories!
